Minute and hour hands are locked & pins are added for easy rotation. The outer dial of the clock has minutes marked from 5 to 60 in the order of 5s. 

Can be made more interactive with numerous questions asked with kids and time is written down accordingly. 

Time can be written with paper inserted in a transparent slot or slate cloth with a slate pencil (provided with the clock )
