Made from a thorny plant traditionally grown along the edges of our farm, this oil is comparable to olive oil in its nutritional profile. The flowers of this farmer-friendly plant are separated from seeds and sun-dried for five days. After this, we hand-pound these white seeds full of good fats and shell them before slowly crushing them in our Bull-driven Ghana. It takes us five kilos of locally sourced Safflower seeds and four hours of continuous crushing to make a single batch of this oil.
