Cow ghee is known as golden medicine in Ayurveda. Our desi cow ghee is organic as it is made from grass-fed Gir cow’s milk. The ghee is pure as it is free of any additional fragrance, additives or color and is highly nutritious. The milk cream is cultured to form a curd, which is then hand-churned to make butter and buttermilk. The butter is slowly heated and reduced to get the ghee. The purity of this ghee is in its golden yellow color and its granular texture. The ghee is aromatic and has a smooth buttery taste that tingles your sensations. According to Charaka Samhita, Sushruta Samhita and Ashtanga Hridayam, which are the classic Ayurvedic texts, ghee is the foundation ingredient in most of the Ayurvedic medicines. Desi cow ghee is a saturated fat with a high smoke point. It has short-chain-fatty acid and is rich in Vitamins K2, E, and D. We only get a far small quantity of desi cow ghee per month.
